Hey! Upon Willow's Models' request, I have added the following four models to the Catch the Horses Mini Game:
Moreover, I added two other models that I personally wanted and I am planning to include even more in the future:
Adding to the enhancements, I added a script that makes players wait for all the images to fully load before the game begins. While implementing it, I encountered an issue that caused returning players to only see the older downloaded models instead of the newly added ones. Thankfully, I managed to fix it and everything should now work correctly! Another bug affected mobile users. When swiping on the screen, the background would move up and down, which was a bit annoying. I fixed that as well.
Regarding website updates, I spent some time improving the two show pages. I tried to make them simpler to navigate and easier to understand. I also added a "no robot" verification system to prevent bots from adding their email addresses to my mailing list. Because of the large number of bot submissions, I haven't sent out any newsletters yet. I have now removed all submitted emails and will only collect real ones going forward. If you previously subscribed, please submit your email again so I can add it back to the list.
I also created pinned posts on the blog page and made several smaller adjustments throughout the website to improve the layout and fix a few things.
Right now, I am really happy with the state of the website. It finally feels much less overwhelming to manage. I can focus on my main priority, which is the blog, while still being able to work on the shows and other projects without feeling overloaded :)

Hello! As promised, here is my Scandi Surprise prediction list as it stands right now. The final version will be posted just a few days before BreyerFest, since quite a few models are likely to pop up until then. There are some that I believe are more likely to be the surprise, and these are:

4. Bobby Jo
Green: The other I believe have higher chances are (not in order):
Yellow: I am not sure about these but I could also see them as the surprise this year:
Of course the ones in red are the ones that can't be the surprise this year.

Hello! I have been a bit inactive lately due to my final exams. Last week I had three exams, and it was quite a rollercoaster since I had so much material to study. Thankfully, my next one is on the 22nd, which means I finally have some time to work on a few of my projects. First of all, I managed to create the first show of the World Tour Series, and the dates are perfect for BreyerFest as the entries close just one day before the event!
I also submitted my Special Run preferences and placed The Wanderer as my top choice, with the Scandi Surprise as my second favorite.
There have also been some exciting releases lately that I wanted to share! First of all, the latest Collector Club web special was released and, unfortunately, I was not selected to purchase it. I am talking about Buenos Aires, a very cool polo pony. I genuinely love polo ponies and would like to add as many as possible to my collection, so this one will definitely make it onto my ISO list at some point.
Moreover, Breyer held a warehouse sale, but this time they only offered BreyerFest models and related items. There were quite a few things I wanted, but I decided to save my money for BreyerFest instead. I was tempted by the Stablemates that were only $8, some pins, Franz, and the BreyerFest 2018 signing model, which was only $12! Right now, because of the FIFA World Cup, Breyer is also offering Torlinie for free with purchases of $50 or more. I think that's a great deal. My guess is that this model wasn't a fan favorite, which might explain why they still have enough stock to give them away as a promotion.
Breyer also did something they have never done before and revealed the Special Run variations ahead of BreyerFest. I have mixed feelings about this. On one hand, it's nice to see the variations and submit preference forms knowing exactly what is available. On the other hand, it takes away some of the excitement and surprise. I always enjoy seeing collectors discover new variations and sharing photos as soon as they find them on Friday.
There is still a possibility that additional variations exist and Breyer is keeping those as a surprise.
Carmen, the first Premier Club model, has finally arrived and there seem to be quite a few quality issues. Many collectors received models with flaws, missing or very faint dapples, and overall lower quality finishes than expected. I believe this is unacceptable for a Premier Club release, and I completely understand why so many people are disappointed. That being said, I have also seen some collectors who were very happy with their models, but they appear to be in the minority. From what I have seen online, at least two out of every three owners were not satisfied with the quality of their Carmen. It will be interesting to see whether Breyer addresses these concerns or if the quality varies significantly from batch to batch.
This is one of the two midyear releases, and I am in love! His name is Mr. Shining Gun, and I like him a lot. I think Breyer did an excellent job with the details, and I can't wait to see one in person.
Last but not least, this is the Open Model Horse Show Overall Champion prize named Svalbard. I really admire this model! The color is stunning, and it looks fantastic on this mold. I would absolutely love to add one to my collection someday, although I highly doubt that will happen.

One will feature my surprise model prediction list (last year I failed because I crossed Totilas off my list at the last minute after they used a glossy Salvino as a prize model, and I assumed they wouldn't use the mold again that year). The other post will probably focus on the auction OOAKs. I'm thinking about making a list with my estimated prices for each model and then seeing how close I get to the actual auction results :)
EDIT: I am also expecting two Breyer puzzles with Stablemates to arrive soon, and I will make a post about them when they get here!

Here are a few changes I made to the website! First of all, I removed the Horseshoe menu and my ISO list. I wanted to make the website feel a bit simpler and cleaner. With the menu, there were many extra links that could already be found on other pages, and the only truly “exclusive” one was the ISO page. I might bring both back in the future, but for now I’m not looking to expand the website. I’m also trying to save money after my biggest purchase, so having an ISO list isn’t really a good idea at the moment. There are also many other platforms where I could post my ISO if I wanted, like Facebook. I replaced the horse shoe menu in the main menu with the Shows page because I really want to focus more on those. As for the other pages that were included in the menu, the catch the horses mini game can still be found on the Home page, and the archive page is in Stable Stories (they were always there -lol).
I also redesigned the show logo. I have to admit that the first version was made in a rush, so I didn’t like it that much. It felt like the right time to improve it by adding more details and making a few changes. I created the ribbon myself this time (the previous one was an image I found online). In fact, apart from the Stable Stories page where I show models, all the artwork you see across the website is made by me!

Happy May! Today I have a few things I want to share with you. First of all, here is my BreyerFest model ranking list. This template was made by Stormy Strike. It may look like I don’t like many of the models, but in reality I do! It’s just that each model within the same tier falls into a similar “love level” for me, and I would probably need more categories to rank them more accurately.
Something I forgot to mention in my previous post is the latest Vintage Club release, El Dorado! When I saw these two models, I got really excited. The blue one especially is a piece I would absolutely love to have in my collection, and owning both as a set would be amazing. I’m not planning to look for them right now, but they are definitely very impressive. This mold is also one of my favorites.
I have a feeling that this year’s lineup might become one of my favorites overall. I already love the lamp and the circus fighting stallion that were teased, and now this release adds even more excitement. The running mare and foal were also beautiful, and the fact that the foal was a surprise made it even more special. I can’t wait to see what else the Vintage Club will offer this year!
A big surprise for me was Maya, the Freedom Series Collector Club Gambler’s Choice model. They sold out very quickly, which is quite surprising for a Collector Club release. There was a limit of three per member, and I have a theory that they may have decreased the run number this year. At first, my favorite was the leopard Appaloosa, but after seeing in hand photos, the roan version really grew on me. I’m not planning to search for one, but it is definitely a very cool and unexpected release.
Today, they also opened a new drawing for a chance to purchase a test run model. I believe this is the second or third one this year, whereas in the past two years there was usually only one annually. I think this one looks quite nice, although I understand why some people question the $1200 price given the visible flaws. Personally, if I got selected, I would probably still buy it, as it represents a true piece of Breyer history.
I also forgot to mention that I got my BreyerFest ticket a couple of weeks ago! As usual, I chose the online Traditional option, and I’m already very excited and impatient for BreyerFest. Even though I’m far away from the actual event, the online experience still makes it feel very special.
Last but not least, I will probably share some changes I made to the website in my next post, which should be coming later today or tomorrow.

Welcome to the World Tour Show Series! This will be a three show series celebrating horses from around the world. The first show will focus entirely on European breeds. They are so diverse and unique and they are so many of them that they definitely deserve their own show! The second show will travel all the way to North and South America, giving all the amazing breeds from those continents the chance to compete. Finally, the third show will feature breeds from the rest of the world: Africa, Oceania, and Asia. Each continent will have one division, which means there will be six divisions in total across the series.
However, I didn’t want to leave Antarctica out, so there will also be a special division in the third and final show! Antarctica will be a Performance/Diorama division, just for fun. There will be several creative classes for this division.
I haven’t decided on the exact dates yet, as they will depend on my schedule, but of course there will also be certificates for the winners!

Hello! I haven't posted anything in the past month. Unfortunately, I have been way too busy and couldn't find much time for any model horse related activity :( Thankfully, I finished the finals for the online MIT course I was taking, and now I am a bit more free. At the moment I am in Santorini with my family to spend Easter here, and it’s actually really nice! During March there were many exciting things that happened to me, and I can't wait to tell you about them. First of all, I got a new car, but I haven't been able to drive it yet because I am still waiting for the customs process to be completed. Moreover, I got to spend my birthday with friends and I had so much fun.

This is a medieval figurine that I found in an antique store. I really want it but it costs 100 Euros... I might think about getting it!
These are two Easter bunnies my cousin and I painted. Mine is the right one! We only had old brushed and the results were a bit funny (lol)
During the past few months, I have actually been able to go on quite a few day trips with my friends! One of them was a ski trip (and I was actually very good at it even though it was only my third time skiing). Another trip was closer to Athens, where we visited the Temple of Poseidon. The third one was the farthest of the three, somewhere in the Peloponissos (I even had my first swim of the year). The three pictures are shown in order!
There was also a very cool Breyer release. Many people, including me, really liked the latest web special San Juan! Unfortunately, I didn’t get picked, but this release made me realize that I haven’t lost my motivation for model horses. For quite some time now, I have been thinking about whether I still want to buy models and spend money on this amazing hobby. What I mean is that for a while there hasn’t been any model that I truly wanted to get, even if I liked it. The interesting thing is that this didn’t only happen with model horses but with other things too. I simply didn’t feel like purchasing anything, which is quite unusual for me. San Juan made me really impatient to see if I had been selected because I would have bought him immediately! Unfortunately, I wasn’t picked, and the second hand prices are extremely high for me at the moment.
I haven’t purchased my BreyerFest online tickets yet, but I am planning to do so very soon. I am also interested in entering my first Breyer Boot Camp photo show, but I want to see which models I will enter and prepare the references for them first. I’m not sure if I will manage to finish everything before the deadline, so I will wait until the end to decide if I will participate. What is certain, however, is that I will soon host my 3rd photo show, so stay tuned for that!
Two weeks ago, my dad and I visited a vintage toys festival, and of course I wanted to find something horse related. I wasn’t expecting to find any Breyers because in Greece it is almost impossible to come across them, but I did find this cute metal figurine!
It dates back to 1988 and was manufactured by the company W. Britain. What I really liked about it is that the model looks very nice and the colors are really pretty.
Another cool thing that happened is the release of the new Schleich 1:12 scale horses. I first posted about these in February 2025, but they ended up releasing them only now. In my opinion, these models are a bit overpriced for what they are. It seems like Schleich is trying to appeal more to collectors with this scale, but in reality the quality doesn’t really justify the price. The soft plastic feels a bit cheap, and for the same price you could buy a Breyer horse, which in my opinion has better material and more detailed colors.
From a post I saw online, the size of these models is almost the same as a Traditional scale Breyer, which is interesting considering the different materials and sculpting styles.
The thing that excites me the most is seeing OOAKs from pictures from shows/ collections and last month I saw a post by Collecting with Sam, who shared a photo of one of the essay contest winners that Breyer hosted. It is the OOAK pony "Skip to My Lulu", and it looks like the winner received it in the blue Breyer Artistry box along with a COA. It is always very cool to see these unique models!
Last but not least, I am thinking of starting 3D sculpting again. I haven’t had much motivation lately, but yesterday I finally did! I started creating a horse head, and with practice I hope I will get better and better.
