Hey guys! Today there are quite a few things I would like to talk about. First things first, BreyerFest tickets went on sale about two weeks ago, and I am planning on getting the online Traditional ticket, but I am also thinking of grabbing one online Stablemate since I like the concept of those models. I was surprised to see the price of the VIP ticket, but I can understand why it is set that way. I do think it is a bit overpriced since you only get two exclusive pins, even though you are guaranteed all the Special Runs. Moreover, they revealed this year’s Classic decorator, which was exactly what I expected: a Dala horse! It’s really cool, and I will show it next to a Dala horse that my brother brought me from Sweden last year.
Last thing about Breyerfest is the online exclusive stablemate which I really like as it is a cute Icelandic horse and the best of Breyerfest SM set. The full set is not really my cup of tea this year. I have never gotten one before, but this year there wasn’t a model that made me think, I need this.

Breyer also released a Collector Club Test Run, which is a beautiful roan Mustang with a kind of orange mane and tail. I love this coloring, and the mapping details make it look like the models we usually see at the BreyerFest auction every summer. The price of $1800 actually seems very reasonable compared to those in the live auction. The person who was selected posted some photos, and it looked way cooler in person.

Lavinia is also available, but I am a bit skeptical about getting her. Even though I like her, I am thinking of saving money this year since I spent quite a lot getting my glossy Rowan. She is not a need for me, but I am still considering it. I was a bit disappointed to find out that they still include domestic shipping in the price, even though international collectors like me have to spend almost $60 extra just for shipping, plus import duties upon arrival. That made me wonder whether the regular Collector Club horses are worth it for me, or if I should only focus on Web Specials (if I get picked).
In my previous post, I showed you a Copperfox teaser, and on Valentine’s Day they released a few models. I went to their website and decided to get some clearware micro minis and ship them to my friend in London, only to find out they are now located in the US and not in Britain… better finding out late than never. The shipping cost was the same as the price of the models I wanted, so I ended up not getting anything.
I don’t know, but I think I have become very picky about the models I want to buy. There is nothing on my radar this year, and I haven’t bought a model horse since November (purchased in October). I actually think that’s a good thing, as I am saving money for the ones I will really love when they come up for sale.
Something fun that also happened and is related to Peter Stone is the contest they held. Collectors were given an image of a clearware Bunny draft filled with mini ducks. Everyone could submit three guesses on the Stone website, and the person who got closest to the number of ducks would win the OOAK horse!
I tried to guess but I was 59 ducks away. The correct number was 359, and I guessed 150, 300, and 540, if I remember correctly.

I also wanted to mention something I forgot in my previous post: my JAH arrived twice! Breyer shipped the magazines in October or November, and I expected mine to arrive in the first week of December like it did last year. Mine never showed up, so I contacted them on December 23, and they told me they would send another. Long story short, the replacement that was shipped on December 23 arrived and the week after, my original one showed up too, so now I have two! They were very fast to resolve my problem, and to my surprise, they shipped the replacement instantly.
Last but not least, I am planning on hosting a new model horse show on OMHPS.com. I have already made some changes to my show page and I am now organizing the details. Stay tuned for more updates!
I hope you liked this post! Byeee :)
EDIT: After writing this, Breyer revealed the online exclusive Traditional model for BreyerFest, and it is on the Llywellyn mold. I have to admit that I really like this model, even though the mold is not my favorite.

This is also the February sneak peek for an upcoming model, which I believe will be another Exotic Destination Web Special. I can see some really nice dapples on a buckskin? base…

Hello, Copperfox posted this on their Facebook page just a few minutes ago! I am so excited to see what that means but I believe that we will see new models!

I will let you know when we have more news :)

Hello! In my previous posts, I mentioned the 2026 releases and said I would make another post about the Stablemates and Classic sized models. However, I completely forgot to mention some important Traditional scale models, so this post will cover those as well! The first one is the 2026 Celebration Horse. I don’t know why I didn’t mention this one earlier, as I actually really like it. It’s great to see more realistic coat colors for the Fjord Horse, and this cream like color (which is actually grey dun) is a beautiful addition. This is Corgi Hill Flinka!

Some time ago, I made a small doodle chart showing 4 Fjord coat colors, and now we have three of them on the Astrid mold:

Before continuing with the other Traditional scale models, I would like to show the event Stablemates. These are four decorator models, which I know are not everyone’s favorite, but I think they are very creative. Each one is based on a different Scandinavian flag, and a fun fact is that the Icelandic one, Keflavík, is named after the airport there!

My favorite is probably Helsinki, but I like all of them. If I had to rank them, I would say:
I also wanted to mention that the Special Run on the vintage mold Thingvellir (which I ranked number 8 in my previous post) is named after the national park in Iceland that I have actually visited in 2023!
The last Traditional scale model for now is this year’s Volunteer Model on the Georg mold. BreyerMidwest was very early this year, and we were able to know this model quite fast!
I absolutely love the colors and in my opinion they look incredible. The dappled buckskin is especially stunning. The dappled palomino is also beautiful, and now I am really impatient to see the third variation that will be revealed during BreyerFest in July. Vegvísir is definitely one of my favorite Volunteer models in recent years, and those who receive the glossy manager versions will be extremely lucky!
Now it’s time for the Stablemates! For the Regular Runs, I don’t have much to say except for the Unicorn Carriage set and the 6 breed collection. The Unicorn Carriage is very cool and reminds me of older sets Breyer released. However, since I am not a big unicorn fan, I would love to see more realistic sets like this.
The 6 breed set is a great addition, and it makes me happy to see newer molds used in accessible and breed appropriate colors. For example, we finally got a fully black Friesian Stablemate on the Django mold! I also really like the mini semi rearing Mustang and the mini Othello.
The other releases are some stablemates sets that are ok but not something that important to me to mention.
The last Stablemates to mention are the Club releases. For the Stablemates Club, we got the bucking horse mold silhouette, and before the club closed, we saw the official colors. The regular release is a Grulla Overo Pinto named Derecho, and there is also a surprise Glossy Bay version.
The glossy version will be an extremely limited run of only 76 pieces, randomly sent to members. If there were a choice, I would definitely pick the glossy one. I absolutely love it!
Another beautiful SM Club release is Najwa, which also has a limited run of 217 pieces in chestnut to celebrate the Year of the Horse. Personally, I like the Black Rabicano version slightly more, but I would be very very happy with either.

I don’t have much more to add about the other Club releases. Astoria is very nice, as I mentioned before, and the others are also very cute.
I believe the final Stablemate is the Premier Club bonus model. We haven’t seen the color yet, but it will most likely match one of the three Premier Club releases. If I had to guess, I would say it will use Carmen’s coat color. I would be very surprised if they used the donkey’s coat (lol)! This sculpture seems to be the mirrored version of the resin Chandani by Leah Peretz of Canyon Spring Studio.
Last but not least, there is a Classic scale model that I really like: the fleabitten grey Arabian. I love this sculpture by one of my favorite artists, Brigitte Eberl, and I was waiting for a realistic release instead of a decorator version. Another one I quite like is the bay Morgan. Overall, the Classic releases are nice, but these two stood out the most to me, and I could definitely see myself purchasing one or both.
With that, I conclude my two part post about the latest Breyer releases. I hope you liked this post, and I’ll see you in the next one :)
A small note: Last year, I thought the Oren Mixer Ideal Series would end with the buckskin model, but this year’s Traditional Pinto Saddlebred is also part of the ideal series. Also, I don’t know if I mentioned it before, but I absolutely love the feathers on the blue Fireheart Special Run named The Wanderer. This might end up being the one I place highest on my preference list!

Hello! Breyer revealed the last Special Run for BreyerFest today, and it’s a lovely purple-blue Fireheart! I really like it, and I absolutely love the story behind this model. Today, I wanted to share my ranking list. I did not include the surprise model, since we don’t know what it will be yet but I have to say, the theme itself is amazing in my opinion.

Unfortunately, the mare and foal set (which would be my top choice this year) is not available for online attendees. I haven’t fully decided which models will end up on my final preference list, but for now, I can say that the surprise model will definitely be on it.
As you might have noticed, I’ve added pagination to the blog posts, so they’re no longer all displayed in one long list. Each page now shows five posts, which makes browsing much easier. I also reorganized the archive page, so feel free to check that out as well!
Have a lovely day :)

Hello! Lately I’ve been incredibly busy with university exams. On top of that, I’ve also started an online MIT Micromasters in Supply Chain Management. It’s super exciting, but definitely one more thing on my plate, but I truly believe it will be worth it.
Over the past few weeks, we’ve seen a wave of new model reveals, and in this post I want to focus on the ones that stood out to me the most and that I feel like talking about.
EDIT: I’ll be doing a separate post for Stablemates and Classics.
Starting with the Regular Runs, one of my absolute favorites is the Bear and Cub set. I really love that Breyer is doing more non equine RRs. It adds so much variety to the line. They also released a new mare and foal set for America, and to my surprise, the mare looks a lot like the European flag. I found that really interesting. Honestly, a continent-themed series would be such an amazing idea! Pluto is also a great addition to the lineup. He is a very well known Lipizzaner and it looks fantastic on this mold. I really appreciate the tail design that stabilizes the model without needing a stand.
Since 2026 is the Year of the Horse, Breyer released a red model with beautiful gold details. I really love this concept which makes it feel a lot more celebratory and elegant. As for the remaining Regular Runs I didn’t mention, they’re all quite nice, but I don’t have much more to add about them.

A pleasant surprise this year is the Halloween model, which features dragons! While it’s labeled as Halloween, it honestly fits a medieval theme even better than a spooky one. The Holiday model is also very well done. I love how Christmas traditional it feels. It reminds me of the older holiday horses. I can’t wait to see the model without the tack.
Gambit is this year’s Flagship Store model. I absolutely love the Newsworthy mold, and this color looks fantastic on it. It low key reminds me of Toulouse (I know many will disagree), which I think is a great thing as I don't think I will be able to add Toulouse to my collection.

Moving on to the BreyerFest models and honestly, I am completely in love with one of the Limited Editions. I’m talking about Pyxis av Drommarna. This color on the Idocus mold is an absolute dream. I love it so, so much. When I first saw it, I was genuinely shocked by how perfect this combination is. I’ve always loved leopard Appaloosas, and seeing that pattern on a warmblood mold is just something else.

I can’t help but wonder if this LE will be the one glossed for BreyerMidwest 2027…
The mare and foal set is nice, but since it’s exclusive to in person attendees, it’s a bit out of reach for many. The mule is also really nice, though nothing particularly special for me personally. There’s another Limited Edition Icelandic horse, which I actually like quite a lot. For the non equine model, we’re getting a Red Deer, and they finally revealed the name of the surprise model: Scandi Surprise.

As for the Othello Special Run, the image shown features the matte version, but Breyer accidentally included the word glossy in the description (they changed it later but it was too late), meaning this SR will actually have a matte/glossy split!
EDIT: Before posting this, Breyer also revealed a Limited Edition on the Rowan mold (long mane). Since it’s a portrait model, I highly doubt we’ll see a braided variation.
Now it’s time for the clubs. This is older news, but we finally got to see the Premier Club Pony colorway, and it looks amazing. The mapping and paint color are stunning, and the dapples really give it that premium feel. As for the donkey (Flapjack), I did not see that coming. I wasn’t expecting an extra new model to be included with Waffles (The pony), but I love it. This pair looks like they’d be best buddies in the paddock.

For the Collector Club, the first Web Special was released as part of the Exotic Destination Series. It’s a glossy dark bay with dapples on the Anamar mold, representing Lisboa, the capital of Portugal. If you’ve seen my blog, you probably already know that I’ve visited this city and even found some Stablemates there! I wasn’t selected for this model, which is probably for the best, since I need to save some money after getting glossy Rowan.

Here are a few images from my trip to Lisboa, Summer 2022:
I also have this picture that my brother took!

Overall, this round of releases has been incredibly exciting, even if it’s happening during one of the busiest times of my life. Between exams, studying, and trying to stay financially responsible (always the hardest part), it’s still so much fun to follow these reveals and share my thoughts with all of you.
I will try to make the stablemates and classic models post very soon! Byee :)

Hey everyone! A new year means new plans. This year, I’ve decided to focus on doing more things in my everyday life, as well as setting some new goals related to model horses. First of all, I want to say that not everything will necessarily be accomplished, and plans can always change over time but as of right now, I feel pretty confident about these resolutions.
Regarding my everyday life, I’d love to meet new people, make new friends, and expand my social circle in general. I want to keep my relationship happy and put more effort into it. I’d also like to become more consistent with going to the gym and training overall. One of the most important goals for me is to focus more on my studies and attend university more regularly, even though attendance isn’t mandatory. I do go fairly often, but I know I could be there more.

Now it’s time for my model horse plans. Last year, I managed to accomplish some of my collecting goals, such as acquiring a model with a run of fewer than 100 pieces. I got Win, Place or Show, the OOAK glossy Rowan from Kelly, and the connoisseur style model Midas. Technically, Midas isn’t part of the official Connoisseur Series, but he was still made at the U.S. factory and feels just as premium as the older releases. One goal I didn’t achieve was getting a resin horse. I think I simply didn’t find the right one, as I was very picky.
For 2026, I want to focus on collecting models I truly love and be even more selective. Just like in 2025, I’m aiming for quality over quantity. I’d also love to get more into sculpting. That means making more medallions and trying to create a new 3D model, either digitally or with clay. It’s something I really enjoy, but unfortunately, I sometimes struggle to find the motivation. Lastly, I want to get more involved in online photo shows. I did participate more in 2025, but this year I’d really like to enter the Breyer Bootcamp Photo Show.
Another goal for this year is to acquire an Alborozo from Europe. I almost got one last year, but there was an issue with the payment, and I had to back out as the situation felt a bit sketchy.
All in all, there are several things I’d like to accomplish this year. It’s always fun to look back and see what you achieved and what you didn’t. See you in the next post :)

Happy New Year 2026! May your year be touched by the magic of the Midsummer Fair :)
